The MDS D524 transponder is tailored for compatibility with RF200 and RF300 systems, utilizing an ISO 15693 protocol. The device incorporates a Fujitsu MB89R112 chip, providing a user memory capacity of 8192 bytes stored in FRAM. With a compact design measuring 27 mm in diameter and 4 mm in height, this transponder is engineered for diverse operational environments.
It operates effectively within a temperature range of -25°C to +85°C during read/write access, and can withstand external conditions from -40°C to +100°C. The device supports a maximum transmission range of 300 mm, subject to reader specifications, ensuring reliable performance in various applications. Notably, the MDS D524 allows for extensive read and write cycles, rated at 1E+12 at temperatures below 40°C, with a data retention time extending beyond 10 years.
The transponder is constructed from black epoxy resin, featuring a shock resistance rating according to DIN EN 60721-3-7 Class 7 M3 and a vibrational acceleration tolerance of 200 m/s². Additionally, the device is designed for block-by-block write protection of the user memory, enhancing data security. For secure installation, the device can be affixed using an M3 screw or adhesive, with a recommended mounting distance of 15 mm from metal surfaces, thus optimizing performance.
