The Siemens 6SE6400-1PB00-0AA0 is an optional PROFIBUS-DP communication module designed for the MICROMASTER 4 series frequency inverters (MM420, MM430, MM440). 1 It enables the drive's integration into higher-level control systems (e.g., PLC) via the PROFIBUS-DP network, functioning as a slave device. It supports transmission rates up to 12 MBaud and features a 9-pin Sub-D connector. Power can be supplied internally from the inverter (6.5V DC) or externally (24V DC). This product was discontinued by Siemens on October 1, 2019 (PM410 status) and is available solely as a spare part. There is no direct successor; contacting Siemens for migration to newer solutions (e.g., SINAMICS) is recommended. A special connector (6GK1500-0EA02) is required for mounting on MM4 FX/GX. 2 It is available on the secondary market from specialized suppliers
