The SMC CDQ2-Z Compact Cylinder is designed for applications requiring a space-saving and lightweight actuator. This double acting, single rod cylinder features a compact body, making it ideal for tight spaces. The CDQ2-Z series offers a wide range of bore sizes from 12mm to 100mm, ensuring compatibility with various industrial requirements. The cylinder is equipped with mounting grooves on 2 or 4 surfaces, allowing for flexible auto switch installation without any projection. Additionally, the CDQ2-Z series includes pivot brackets for double clevis and compact type foot brackets, enhancing its mounting versatility.

With a weight reduction of 5 to 13% compared to the existing CQ2 series, the CDQ2-Z series contributes to overall equipment downsizing. The built-in rubber bumper ensures smooth operation and reduces noise, while the availability of part numbers with rod end brackets and mounting bolts eliminates the need for separate bracket orders. The cylinder is designed to meet high industry standards, providing reliable performance in various automation and pneumatic applications.
