Product Description
The SMC MGPM40TF-10Z Compact Guide Cylinder is an upgraded version of the MGP Series, designed to offer enhanced performance and functionality. This new model is up to 17% lighter and features shorter guide rods, resulting in significant space savings without compromising on the robustness and quality of the original series. The MGP-Z allows for direct mounting of round auto switches, eliminating the need for mounting brackets and reducing labor costs. Additionally, the use of SMC's two-color indication solid state auto switch, D-M9*W, helps mitigate the common issue of incorrectly positioned auto switches.
The MGP-Z series offers a variety of standard feature options, including three types of bearings, four mount designs, and piping from two directions. It is also available in copper and fluorine-free versions, making it suitable for a wide range of industries, including general automation and automotive sectors. Applications for the MGP-Z include smooth pusher and lifter operations, acting as a stopper to handle lateral loads and shock, and minimizing plate displacement.
