Product Description

The SMC MHL2-32D Air Gripper is designed for applications requiring a wide opening and strong gripping force. This parallel style air gripper features a double piston mechanism that provides a large amount of gripping force while maintaining a compact design. The MHL2-32D is equipped with double-end type oil-impregnated resin bearings with a metal backing for all shafts, ensuring durability and reliability. The fingers are synchronized by a rack and pinion mechanism, providing precise and repeatable operation.

The MHL2-32D offers a maximum gripping force per finger of 396 N at 0.5 MPa and a repeatability of ±0.1 mm, making it suitable for high-precision tasks. It operates with a maximum frequency of 60 cycles per minute and does not require lubrication, reducing maintenance requirements. The gripper is designed to handle a wide range of ambient temperatures, from -10ºC to 60ºC, and features a built-in dust-protection mechanism to ensure long-term performance in various environments.

This model supports the mounting of auto switches at four locations, providing flexibility in installation and operation. The scraper with a dust lip adopted for all rod rotating parts further enhances its durability. The MHL2-32D is ideal for applications in automation, robotics, and manufacturing where precise and reliable gripping is essential.
