The Low Temperature Rise Ventilated Transformers, designated as PN E5HB300S, incorporate a +220°C insulation system that allows for a temperature rise of only +80°C or +115°C at full nameplate load. This innovative design results in operating losses that are 13-21 percent lower compared to traditional +150°C rise transformers. The enhanced thermal management not only improves operational efficiency but also increases reliability, providing a +35°C thermal reserve on +115°C rise units and a +70°C reserve on +80°C rise units.

These transformers are capable of short-term overloads of 15-30 percent when operated at +150°C rise. They are available in various configurations, including single-phase options with a primary voltage of 240 x 480 Volts and a secondary voltage of 120/240 Volts, as well as three-phase configurations with primary voltages of 480 ∆ and secondary voltages ranging from 208Y/120 to 240 ∆. The transformer capacity options include 15, 25, 37.5, 50, 75, 100 kVA for single-phase and 15, 30, 45, 75, 112.5, 150, 225, and 300 kVA for three-phase models, all designed to operate at a frequency of 60 Hz with aluminum windings.
