Sun Hydraulics CXFA-XAN

The Sun Hydraulics Free Flow Nose to Side Check Valve is an essential on/off circuit component designed to allow free flow from the inlet (port 1) to the outlet (port 2) while blocking flow in the opposite direction. This valve is engineered to provide extremely low leakage rates, with a maximum leakage of less than 1 drop per minute (0.07 cc/min). It can handle pressures up to 5000 psi (350 bar) at both ports, making it suitable for high-pressure applications.

Featuring Sun's floating style construction, this check valve minimizes the risk of internal parts binding due to excessive installation torque or cavity/cartridge machining variations. It is compatible with systems using phosphate ester fluids when configured with EPDM seals. However, exposure to petroleum-based fluids, greases, and lubricants can damage these seals. For use in corrosive environments, corrosion-resistant cartridge valves are available and identified by the model code suffix /AP or /LH.

This valve is designed for use in a T-5A cavity and has a capacity of 40 gpm. It is an ideal choice for applications requiring reliable and efficient flow control with minimal leakage.
