The Turck Inductive Sensor, Model NI15U-EM18WD-AP6X, is a robust and reliable solution designed specifically for the demanding environment of the food industry. This sensor boasts a switching distance of 15 mm and features a cable length (L) of 2 m. Its non-flush design with a threaded barrel of M18 x 1 ensures easy installation and maintenance.

Constructed from stainless steel, grade 1.4404, this sensor is resistant to magnetic fields and can operate at temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +100 °C. It offers a high protection class of IP69K, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor also features a special double-lip seal that protects against common acidic and alkaline cleaning agents.

The front cap is made from liquid crystal polymer, ensuring durability and resistance to chemicals. This sensor is laser engraved with a permanently legible label for easy identification. It operates on a DC 3-wire system, requiring a voltage of 10 to 30 VDC, and provides a PNP output.

The cable connection is straightforward, ensuring ease of use. This sensor is designed to be compatible with all metals, offering a factor of 1 for all metal applications. It is also resistant to magnetic fields, making it an ideal choice for environments where magnetic interference may be present.
