The Hostile Duty motor is engineered for industrial applications requiring continuous operation and energy efficiency. This model, designated as H2P2D, fulfills Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA 2007) efficiency standards, making it suitable for demanding environments such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, or blowers.
Constructed with a durable cast iron frame, this motor features a Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) design that enhances its resilience against dust and moisture. The heavy gauge steel fan covers and corrosion-resistant mill and chemical duty paint further contribute to its longevity. Operating at dual frequencies of 60 and 50 Hz, this motor is designed to handle a full load current of 5.9-5.7/2.9 A, achieving a full load efficiency of 86.5%.
Additionally, the motor's 145T frame size and insulation class F ensure reliable performance under various conditions. The service factor of 1.15 supports applications with higher load demands, while the motor's weight of 70 LB facilitates robust installation options.
