The Universal Transmitter PR 4116 is designed for linearized, electronic temperature measurement using RTD or TC sensors. It converts linear resistance variations into standard analog current or voltage signals, making it ideal for applications involving solenoids, butterfly valves, or linear movements with potentiometers. This versatile device also functions as a power supply and signal isolator for 2-wire transmitters, and supports process control with two pairs of potential-free relay contacts and an analog output.Featuring galvanic separation of analog signals, the PR 4116 ensures accurate measurement of floating signals. It continuously checks vital stored data for safety reasons and offers 4-port 2.3 kVAC galvanic isolation. Its low power consumption allows for side-by-side mounting without an air gap, even at ambient temperatures up to 60°C.
