The Schneider Electric Altivar Machine ATV340 is a robust variable speed drive capable of handling 3-phase synchronous and asynchronous motors in open and closed loop control. This heavy-duty drive is designed to withstand harsh environments, including vibration, shock, non-conductive dust, and high temperatures up to 60 °C.
With a rated power of 7.5kW / 10hp and a voltage range from 380V to 480V AC, the ATV340 is equipped with Modbus serial line communication protocols as standard. It weighs 3kg and has dimensions of 110mm wide, 270mm high, and 234mm deep.
The Altivar Machine ATV340 is suitable for a variety of applications, including packaging, material handling, material working, and hoisting. It conforms to international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 (immunity and conducted and radiated EMC emissions), IEC 60721-3, IEC 61508, IEC 13849-1. It is also CE, UL, CSA, and TÜV certified.
Accessories such as encoder interface modules, I/O expansion modules, communication modules, braking resistors, line chokes, and additional EMC filters are available for the Altivar Machine ATV340 drive, depending on the drive rating. The drive is designed to be mounted in a vertical position (+/- 10 °) on a panel with 4 fixing holes.
The Altivar Machine ATV340 is fully integrated into Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Machine through DTM, allowing for configuration, control, and diagnosis directly in SoMachine and SoMove software using the same software brick (DTM).
