The 5 port solenoid valves series SQ was designed for applications which demand high speed, high frequency, long life and a precise response time. The SQ uses cassette style valves and manifolds, making it simple to increase or decrease the number of stations on a DIN rail. Valves are available with 12VDC or 24VDC rated voltage. Actuation options include 5 port single solenoid, 5 port double solenoid, and dual 3/2 ported. Manifold variations for the SQ plug-in series include EX510 Gateway-type serial transmission system, D-sub connector, flat ribbon cable connector, PC wiring system compatible flat ribbon cable, terminal block box, or a lead wire kit. The SQ plug lead units are available with D-sub connector, flat ribbon cable connector or PC wiring system compatible flat ribbon cable kits.

The SV series employs a multi-connector instead of the conventional lead wires for internal manifold wiring. By connecting each block with a connector, changes to manifold stations are greatly simplified. Cassette base type manifolds offer the ultimate in flexibility. Manifold sections can be added using a simple release mechanism. Conventional tie-rod base type manifolds are also available. The use of 34 pin connectors allows up to 16 stations with double solenoids.

SYA 5 port air operated valves are available in body ported or base mounted styles. The SYA uses the same manifolds as series SY (non plug-in style) for types 20, 41, 42 and 45. One-touch fittings are available on body ported types. Available thread types are Rc, G, NPT or NPTF.

SMC has improved product performance and reliability with the redesigned SY series valve. The SY3000 and SY5000 have the same valve width as their predecessors, but the flow has been increased by up to 80%, allowing the valve size to be reduced. SMC s VP300/500/700 series solenoid valve, offers high flow capacity and reduced power consumption (1.55W standard, 0.55W with power saving circuit). The series may be used as either a selector valve, or a divider valve. It is vacuum applicable up to –101.2kPa. Series VP3145/3165/3185 is a large size, 3 port solenoid valve with a rubber seal. It is possible to use the series in vacuum applications or under low pressure. Both series are available in a normally closed or normally open styles.

The VXZ series for water is a 2 port, pilot operated solenoid valve capable of operating at higher differential pressures by maintaining a zero differential pressure on the seat. The molded coil offers low power consumption, long life and high reliability. Standard NBR seal and optional FKM seal for use with deionized water. Available for port sizes ranging from 1/4 to 1 inch. Flow rate ranges from Cv of 1.9 to 10.2.

Power valve series VEX includes a regulator valve (VEX1*0), precision regulator (VEX1*3), 3 position valve (VEX3) and a economy valve (VEX5). The 3 port large capacity poppet exhausting regulator is equipped with a relief port the same size as the connection port. The 3-port, 3-position double solenoid that permits vacuum suction, vacuum destruction, suspension (closed) is ideal for a system where many valves are used.

LVM20/200 is a compact direct operated 2/3 port solenoid valve for chemicals. LVM s unique internal chamber design reduces the swept volume to a minimum and can mean zero dead volume and carry over. Operating pressure ranges from -75 kPa to 0.30 MPa. LVM20/200 is available as body ported, direct tube connection or base mounted. Maximum flow up to Cv of 0.065
