Active Technologies was established in 2003 as a start-up of the University of Ferrara in Italy, and immediately began working on significant European Union research experiments, mainly in semiconductor testing and the design of advanced instruments. Its mission is to provide the industry with the highest quality signal stimulus solutions, such as fast pulse generators, arbitrary waveform generators, and data pattern generators. The research team works closely with physics and academic research centers, semiconductor and automotive industries, in order to provide the latest signal source solutions for testing. Its OEM collaborations with leading Test and Measurement companies demonstrate the outstanding features and flexibility of the technologies developed by Active Technologies. As a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME), Active Technologies can take part in EU research projects to develop a specific testing solution. So far, Active Technologies has participated in 8 EU projects under FP7, H2020, and ECSEL Programs. All products are designed and manufactured in Italy, making them 100% Made in Italy products.
