Autec is an industrial automation company that has been in business since 1993. Initially, they specialized in PU injected shoes, particularly safety shoes, and developed robots for automatic extraction, releasing agent application, mould cleaning, PU sole trimming, roughing, and loading in a varnishing machine. In 2000, they developed a digitizer for detecting sole profiles, which was improved with laser technology in 2002. In 2005, Autec created an IMC (In Mould Coating) technology that reduced costs and environmental impact. They also developed a new method of releasing agent application in 2006. From 2011, they have been focused on designing and creating production lines for air/panel filters for automotive OEMs. In 2018, they developed and industrialized an application for the leather goods industry, involving glue application and matching with leather parts in a patented way.
