In the early 1970s, after gaining professional experience at the SECMU in Ponte dell'Olio, Messrs. Antonio Rossi and Carlo Pezza founded EL.IN. Elettronica Industriale S.r.l., a single-member limited liability company, in 1975. The headquarters is located in the Artigianale area in Albarola di Vigolzone, about 20 km from the city of Piacenza, covers an area of ​​about 1000 sqm, employs 40 people including 4 designers, 5 clerks, 3 programmers, 26 specialized workers and 2 testers. EL.IN. S.r.l.’s activity is to design and build control equipment for machine tools, as well as to build machine side wiring, comply with standards and design and develop complex PLC control logic. The testing system in the various production phases is particularly rigorous, starting with the acceptance of raw materials, production, final testing on exit, and finally commissioning at the end user, all aimed at providing a product and service of high quality. Since the year 2000, EL.IN. S.r.l. has been a company with a Quality System certified according to UNI EN ISO 9001 standards, while in 2014 EL.IN, after a period of training and training and subsequent verification of suitability, was able to certify its own electrical equipment according to the stringent requirements imposed by the American standard UL 508A. In May 2017, the shares of the founding shareholders were acquired by an Omani company called A'LAF ALKHLYJ LLC. Thanks to this acquisition, EL.IN. began to expand its activity to the agri-food sector, thanks to the know-how of the new owner. During the year 2018, after the acquisition of the adjacent building, the two real estate units will be integrated, thus obtaining an area dedicated to production of over 2000 sqm, plus 300 sqm of surface used for offices.
