In 1936, Erich Franke created a Wire Race Bearing which was a new type of bearing that aimed for a space-saving design. As time passed, we have continued to develop Franke's original concept of four race rings, resulting in our current product line which includes both rotary and linear components, with or without drive. With our headquarters located in Aalen, we employ a workforce of 300 and have a worldwide presence. Franke's 4-point contact design allows for maximum flexibility, making it the perfect foundation for custom product solutions. Our customers have the freedom to choose from a variety of materials, geometries, sizes, bore patterns, gears, and seals. Additionally, there is a wide range of materials available for the mating structure.
