Geisbüsch Industrietechnischer requirement GmbH was established in 1992 as a sole proprietorship by Klaus Geisbüsch (†), under the name "Klaus Geisbüsch industrial technical requirement", located in Mayen (Am Ostbahnhof). In 1999, the company moved to new business premises in Rudolf-Diesel-Strasse (Mayener Tal industrial area). At the beginning of 2007, the sole proprietorship was converted into a GmbH to allow Klaus Geisbüsch's two sons, Stefan and Andreas, to participate in the business and ensure the company remains a family-run business. In mid-2011, Klaus Geisbüsch retired from active business operations and acted as a consultant to his sons and the entire workforce. The construction of the new business and warehouse building "Am Biersberg" in Kottenheim commenced in August 2015 and was completed by May 2016. On June 1st, 2016, business operations started in the new premises.
