Keck Chimie is a French manufacturer of industrial chemical products with over a century of expertise, founded in 1900 by Jakob Keck. Initially specializing in industrial wax and shoe polish in Pirmasens, the company evolved under Erich Schorr to include glues, varnishes, and coloring pastes, adapting to the introduction of plastics in shoe manufacturing. Keck Chimie was an early innovator in polyurethane for shoe soles, expanding internationally with the creation of Chelafi SA in Spain (1975) and Keck Chimie SA in Ingwiller, Alsace (1980), alongside a distribution warehouse and paint mixing plant in Cholet, Anjou.
