In the beginning, as Lakewood Tool & Supply Company, we were solely a pneumatic and hydraulic distributor. In 1982 we decided to change our focus by adding electric products to our line card. By partnering with Omron Electronics, a globally recognized controls company, we became an electric and pneumatic distributor. To better reflect our new direction, we changed our name to Lakewood Automation.
