Maisam Steel Mill (MSM) is the first steel manufacturing company in Afghanistan, established in Kabul in 2009, and commenced operations in 2010. The company holds IEC/ISO 9001:2015 and IEC/ISO 45001:2018 certifications, ensuring high-quality steel products for construction and industrial development. MSM specializes in producing steel rebar (8mm to 32mm), steel angles (20mm x 20mm to 75mm x 75mm), and steel T-bars. With over 15 years of experience, MSM aims to make Afghanistan independent from steel imports by employing young people and plans to introduce I-beam and H-beam products in the future. The company is committed to finding environmentally friendly production methods and envisions taking part in the exploration and extraction of Afghanistan's rich iron mines.
