Metix OOD is a private Bulgarian company established in 1991 in Petrich, specializing in electrotechnical and energy solutions within the electrical power distribution and control apparatus manufacturing sector (C 27.12). The company focuses on the development, production, and sale of various types of electrical panels, concrete and metal compact transformer substations, and medium and low voltage distribution switchgears. Metix OOD operates a 4500 m² production base and a 980 m² administrative section in Petrich, along with an office and showroom in Sofia. The company owns the Metix trademark and a patent for industrial design of its compact transformer substations, holding certifications for EN ISO 9001:2008, EN ISO 14001:2005, and BS OHSAS 18001:2007. They are accredited members of the Chamber of Builders in Bulgaria and Romania, and the Bulgarian Association of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, with four Gold Medals for Innovation from the International Technical Fair Plovdiv. Metix is an official distributor for ABB Bulgaria EOOD, selling low-voltage electrical equipment, components, and metal cabinets from ABB, GENERAL ELECTRIC, and HAGER, along with industrial plugs and sockets from ABB and PALAZZOLI.
