Örtaş Örücüler A.Ş. is a Turkish company established in 1928, initially manufacturing socks with hand knitting machines. By 1958, the company shifted to sales, marketing, and technical service of imported gas/petrol diesel motor pumps. In 1965, the sons S.Zeki, Erdem, and Ergün Örücü founded ÖRÜCÜLER KOLL. ŞTİ., expanding into durable consumer goods and various water motor sales. From 1971, the firm began manufacturing motor and electropumps, integrating its market knowledge to produce more efficient and reliable pumps. In 1982, it became a corporate entity as ÖRTAŞ ÖRÜCÜLER Zirai Makine Motor Day. Tük. Mal. Tic. Ve San A.Ş. The company has since developed its centrifugal pump manufacturing, catering to agriculture, general industry, and specialized stainless-steel pumps for the food industry. Post-2000, Örtaş Örücüler A.Ş. actively engaged in KOSGEB and TÜBİTAK R&D projects, demonstrating a commitment to continuous innovation and advanced technologies, remaining open to new investments.
