Robotik Verband

Deutscher Robotik Verband e.V. is a German trade association for robotics and industrial automation, representing robot manufacturers, system integrators, component suppliers, academic research institutes, and small to medium-sized enterprises. Headquartered in Mainburg with regional office facilities in Hoppstätten-Weiersbach, the organization promotes the deployment and development of industrial robotics, collaborative robots, mobile robotics, and automated production systems across Germany. The association offers the Roboterführerschein certification, a standardized, manufacturer-independent training program covering safety norms, programming, and operation for major brand systems including ABB, KUKA, Mitsubishi, and Nachi. Member organizations gain access to specialized working groups focused on application engineering, research coordination, funding project applications, and legal compliance with industrial safety standards. Through technical workshops, webinars, and networking events, the association connects technology developers with end-user companies seeking to implement automated manufacturing solutions. The organization provides initial application consulting, helping craft businesses and industrial facilities determine the technical feasibility and ROI of integrating industrial robot arms into their operations. Additionally, the association supports academic collaboration between universities, research centers, and manufacturing companies to accelerate technology transfer in fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud robotics, and sensor integration.
