Founded in 1958 as “F.lli Saccardo”, the Saccardo Company began producing electric motors. In 1990, the company evolved into “Saccardo Elettromeccanica” and moved its headquarters to Schio (VI), becoming a leader in the production and marketing of flat-shape engines, now known as “SBC”. In 2001, the company opened its current and more modern plant in Santorso (VI), where new CNC machines were installed to increase production and refine the process. The opening of the R&D department enabled the development of new types of electro-spindles, resulting in an expanded range of products.
