This IO-Link temperature module, designated as IOL MOD 4xTEMP IP69K, is engineered to interface with various analogue temperature sensors, specifically PT100, PT1000, and thermocouples of type J and K. With a protection class rating of IP69K, it is optimized for demanding environments typical of the food and beverage industry.
Operating within a voltage range of 18 to 30 V DC and consuming less than 50 mA, this module supports four analogue inputs, ensuring precise measurements with an accuracy of ±0.3%. The device facilitates EMC-resistant signal transmission via IO-Link, adhering to the SDCI standard IEC 61131-9, while its communication interface operates at COM3 with a baud rate of 230.4 kBaud.
Designed for a wide ambient temperature range from -25°C to 60°C and humidity levels up to 90%, this module can function effectively at altitudes of up to 2000 meters. Its robust construction includes a rectangular housing made from PA grey plastic, complemented by stainless steel (316L) sockets, ensuring durability and resistance against various chemical media.
The module is equipped with multiple LEDs for operational status, fault indication, and functional feedback, enhancing usability in complex systems. It requires a minimum process cycle time of 4 ms and operates without SIO mode, necessitating a type A master port for connection.
