The XUY photoelectric sensor, designed with a fork configuration, utilizes a through-beam detection system for reliable performance. This sensor supports a nominal sensing distance of 120mm and offers programmable discrete outputs, allowing for either 1 normally opened (NO) or 1 normally closed (NC) configuration, with both PNP and NPN solid-state outputs available.

Constructed from painted aluminium and polyamide/glass, this device provides durability and an IP65 protection rating, making it suitable for various industrial environments. Its 12...24 VDC supply voltage range includes reverse polarity protection, with a no-load current consumption of 40mA and a switching frequency of up to 10kHz. The sensor is equipped with an infrared LED for modulated emission.

With a weight of 0.19kg, the XUY sensor is ideal for applications in material handling, packaging, labelling, assembly, lifts, escalators, and the food and beverage industry.
