- The RapidNet 12 Port Cassette to Split Cassette is pre-terminated with 12 RJ45 ports in one cassette and 6 RJ45 ports in each of the two cassettes at the other end. The 12 port cassette has its own magnified labelling field for effective port identification. The RapidNet 12 Port Cassette to Split Cassette option presents 48 RJ45 ports in 1U of space (12 port cassette) and 24 RJ45 ports in 1U of space (6 port cassette) when using a RapidNet Patch Panel. The Cassette to Split Cassette option provides a high density cabinet to cabinet solution for the data centre and comms room.

- Short Description
- The 12 port RapidNet™ cassette to split cassette solution presents 12 RJ45 ports in one cassette with 4 cassettes fitting into the new 12 port RapidNet™ patch panel and two split cassettes each present 6 RJ45 ports in each cassette which fit into the original RapidNet™ panel.
- Technical Description
- The RapidNet Cassette has been designed to provide a jack life of a minimum of 1000 insertions. The cassette is manufactured with a simple push clip mechanism and polarising clips to prevent incorrect insertion. Rear cable management is provided within the RapidNet Cassette with integral strain relief which provides protection to all the cables and their terminations. All RapidNet terminations are tested to exceed the latest published versions of ISO/IEC 11801, BS/EN50173 and ANSI/TIA/EIA 568 – C Category 6 standards. All RapidNet Category 6 cables are made with LS0H material, complying with the latest European fire ratings. NB. Part Number is given for a 10m loom as an example. Lengths are available from 5m to 90m.
