- The Short Body RapidNet Cassette has been designed for use with HellermannTyton Angled and Standard RapidNet Panels and the shorter 32mm cassette body depth allows the RapidNet solution to be used in areas with limited access or restricted space where a standard RapidNet Cassette cannot be installed. The RapidNet Category 6A UTP Short Body Cassette to Bare End presents 6 ports in a cassette at one end and a single loom of 6 cable bundles at the other end, with 4 cassettes fitting into an angled or standard RapidNet panel. A fully loaded panel presents 24 ports in 1U of space. The Short Body cassette to bare end option is specifically designed for projects where space between rooms is limited or lengths are uncertain at the planning stage. The bare end provides several connectivity options which can be terminated in the comms room or to outlets at the desk. The Category 6A UTP keystone jacks are available in 5 colours (Black(BK), Blue(BL), Green(GN), Red(RD) and Yellow(YE)). This allows for differentiation of looms at the patch panel aiding identification access levels, paths, routes or systems within the network.

- Technical Description
- The RapidNet Category 6A UTP solution is designed using U-UTP cable loosely bundled in a 5 around 1 configuration which maintains performance and reduces alien crosstalk. The Short Body cassette has a 32mm depth and is manufactured with a simple push clip mechanism and polarising pips to prevent incorrect insertion. Rear cable management is provided within the RapidNet Short Body Cassette with integral strain relief which provides protection to all the cables and their terminations. All RapidNet terminations are tested to exceed all ISO/EIA 11801:2002 1.1 and ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-C.2 Category 6A standards. All RapidNet Category 6A cables are made with LS0H material, complying with the latest European fire ratings. NB: Part Numbers given are for 10m looms in the standard 5 colours (Black(BK), Blue(BL), Green(GN), Red(RD) and Yellow(YE)).
