The CM-ESS.1P voltage monitoring relay is specifically configured for over- or undervoltage monitoring and is part of the CM series of single-phase monitors. This device operates within a control supply voltage range of 220 - 240 V AC and is equipped with a single changeover (SPDT) output contact, rated for 250 V / 4 A. It features a RMS measuring principle suitable for both AC and DC voltage, with four distinct measuring ranges: 3-30 V, 6-60 V, 30-300 V, and 60-600 V.

Utilizing the open-circuit principle, the CM-ESS.1P allows for a flexible hysteresis adjustment between 3 to 30 % of the threshold value. The device incorporates Easy Connect Technology, enabling maintenance-free operation through its screwless terminals. For enhanced security, a transparent cover can be added to prevent unauthorized adjustments.

In terms of durability, the relay is designed to withstand an electrical durability of 100,000 cycles in AC-12 and 30,000,000 cycles mechanically. Its environmental tolerance ranges from -20 to +60 °C for operation and -40 to +85 °C for storage, making it suitable for various industrial settings.

This device complies with multiple standards, including IEC/EN 60255-27 and UL 508, ensuring reliability across different applications. The CM-ESS.1P is also compliant with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and the Buy American Act (BAA), reflecting its adherence to regulatory requirements.
