The Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) is designed for current limiting applications and features dual tripping mechanisms: a delayed thermal mechanism for overload protection and an electromechanical mechanism for short circuit protection. It operates at a rated operational voltage of 440 V AC and is compliant with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2 standards, making it suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial use.
With a rated short-circuit capacity of 6 kA at 400 V AC, this device efficiently safeguards electrical systems. The product measures 52.5 mm in width and 88 mm in height, fitting into a standard DIN Rail (TH35-15 or TH35-7.5) with any mounting position. Its compact design enables a space-saving installation, and it includes a bottom-fitting auxiliary contact.
The MCB's environmental credentials are notable, featuring a recyclability rate of 80.7% in accordance with EN45555, and it supports a take-back service for recycling. The unit operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -25 °C to +55 °C, ensuring reliability under varying conditions.
Additionally, the device offers a dielectric test voltage of 2 kV and is designed to endure electrical and mechanical stresses with a lifespan of 20,000 cycles. The actuator is a toggle type, while the housing is made from durable Insulation Group II material, RAL 7035. The MCB is categorized under ETIM 9 as a miniature circuit breaker.
