Product Description

The Intraground™ N1 Series control stations, alongside the N2 Series factory-sealed variants, are specifically designed for use in environments that are corrosive. These units utilize a nonmetallic construction made of 30% glass-reinforced thermoplastic polyetherimide, ensuring durability and resistance to chemicals.

Each control station offers a selection of push buttons and selector switches, which can be integrated with contactors or magnetic starters to facilitate remote motor control in hazardous locations. The pilot lights provide visual confirmation of electrical functionalities at both remote and local points.

In terms of specifications, the push button's upper barrel is crafted from copper-free aluminum, while the lower barrel is phenolic with nylon plastic buttons. The pilot light assembly features a body of copper-free aluminum, complemented by a steel clamping ring and tempered glass jewel for optimal visibility. Additionally, the selector switch operator mechanism includes a nylon cam and a sealed phenolic contact block, ensuring reliable operation.

Moreover, the control stations comply with various NEC certifications, including Class I, Division 1 and 2, Groups C, D, and NEMA ratings suitable for diverse environmental conditions. The optional stainless steel lockout feature allows for secure handling of the selector switch, enhancing operational safety. This product is referenced as PN N2DC75Q within the Intraground™ series.
