The Photoelectric Distance Sensors BOD 21M-LA02-S92 from Balluff are designed for precise distance measurement in industrial environments. Featuring a robust metal housing and a red laser light, these sensors ensure accurate and reliable performance. The BOD 21M series employs the principle of optical triangulation, offering a measurement range of 20 to 200 mm with an adjustable range. The collimated beam and a light spot size of Ø 1 mm at 200 mm provide high precision, with an accuracy of ±1% FS and a repeatability of 1% FS.
These sensors come with an analog voltage interface (1...10 V) and dual PNP/NPN outputs, which can be configured as normally open or normally closed. The M12x1 5-pin connector ensures secure and easy installation. The rugged zinc die-cast aluminum housing and glass sensing surface are designed to withstand harsh conditions, with an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water.
