Product Description
The CLASS 5000 (H50) Smart Meters facilitate advanced dual protocol communications, allowing for simultaneous interaction with up to two energy monitoring systems. This includes compatibility with BAS systems, energy monitoring, billing programs, and M&V reporting tools. The device features a 4-line LCD display with backlight for enhanced visibility.
With an operating voltage configuration of 277/480 V AC and a current rating of 100 A, the submeter supports both single and dual-phase configurations. It operates effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from -4 °F (-20 °C) to 122 °F (50 °C), with a maximum humidity tolerance of 95% non-condensing. The Class 5000 meter complies with regulatory standards such as ANSI C12.20 and UL/CUL.
It employs solid-core current sensors and provides accurate readings with a tolerance of ±1% across 1% to 100% of the rated load. The meter includes multiple communication protocols, including Modbus RTU and EZ-7 Ethernet, allowing for flexible integration into existing monitoring systems. The enclosure is constructed from JIC steel, ensuring durability and reliability in industrial environments.
