Product Description

The IFM O6P200 Retro-reflective Sensor is designed for applications requiring precise object detection in limited spaces. Its exceptionally compact housing allows for installation in tight areas, while offering a long detection range regardless of object color. The sensor features intuitive sensitivity adjustment via a potentiometer and a convenient light-on/dark-on mode selection with a rotary switch. This sensor provides an excellent price-to-performance ratio, making it an ideal choice for various industrial applications.

The O6P200 utilizes red light with a wavelength of 633 nm and includes a polarization filter to enhance detection accuracy. The sensor's robust design includes an ABS and PPSU housing with EPDM sealing, ensuring durability and reliability in harsh environments. The sensor is equipped with a 2-meter PUR cable for easy electrical connection.

With an operating voltage range of 10 to 30 V DC and a current consumption of 12 mA at 24 V, the O6P200 meets protection class III standards and includes reverse polarity protection. The sensor's PNP output can handle a maximum switching current of 100 mA and offers a switching frequency of up to 1000 Hz. Short-circuit protection is provided through a pulsed mechanism.
