Product Description

The IFM O6T200 Diffuse Reflection Sensor is designed for applications requiring precise detection in limited spaces. Its exceptionally compact housing allows for easy installation in confined areas. The sensor features an intuitive potentiometer for range adjustment and a convenient rotary switch for selecting light-on/dark-on mode, ensuring ease of use and flexibility.

Equipped with a red light source at a wavelength of 633 nm, the O6T200 offers reliable performance with a detection range of 5 to 500 mm, adjustable between 100 and 500 mm. The sensor's maximum light spot diameter is 15 mm, providing accurate detection even at maximum range. The device operates efficiently with a supply voltage of 10 to 30 V DC and a current consumption of 16 mA at 24 V.

Built to withstand harsh conditions, the O6T200 has an IP65/IP67 protection rating and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25 to 60°C. The housing is made of durable ABS and PPSU materials, with EPDM sealing and a PMMA lens. The sensor includes short-circuit protection and reverse polarity protection, ensuring reliable and safe operation.

The O6T200 complies with EN 60947-5-2 standards and has a Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) of 897 years, highlighting its long-term reliability. It is UL approved for use in ambient temperatures of -25 to 60°C and is classified under UL Type 1 and Class 2 power supply categories.
