The Keyence LV-S71 Sensor Head is a small standard sensor head designed for spot thrubeam applications. Utilizing a visible red semiconductor laser with a wavelength of 655 nm, this sensor head ensures accurate and reliable detection. The LV-S71 is engineered to operate in various environments, with an ambient temperature range of -10 to +50 °C, making it suitable for diverse industrial applications.

Constructed with a combination of stainless steel and polyarylate, the LV-S71 offers durability and longevity. The lens cover is made from Norbornene plastic for the transmitter and polyarylate for the receiver, ensuring optimal performance and protection. This sensor head is classified as a Class 1 Laser Product under FDA (CDRH) Part 1040.10 and complies with IEC 60825-1 standards, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The LV-S71 is ideal for applications requiring precise detection over a distance of up to 500 mm, with multiple detection modes including MEGA, ULTRA, SUPER, TURBO, FINE, and HSP. Its compact design and lightweight construction (approx. 70 g) make it easy to integrate into various systems and setups.
