Keyence PZ-M61

The Keyence PZ-M61 is a high-performance square retro-reflective sensor designed for accurate and reliable object detection. Featuring a polarized retro-reflective type with NPN output, this sensor ensures precise detection within a range of 0.1 to 1.5 meters when used with the R-5 reflector. The red LED light source and adjustable sensitivity via a 1-turn trimmer (230°) provide enhanced detection capabilities.

The PZ-M61 offers a fast response time of 2 ms, making it suitable for high-speed applications. The sensor's operation mode is switch-selectable between LIGHT-ON and DARK-ON, providing flexibility for various use cases. The output and power status are indicated by an orange LED, while a green LED indicates stable operation.

Designed for durability, the PZ-M61 features a glass-fibre reinforced plastic case and is rated IP67 for protection against dust and water. It includes protection circuits for reversed polarity, overcurrent, and surge absorption, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments. The sensor operates within a power voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC and consumes a maximum of 34 mA.
