Product Description
The Keyed Patch Cord is a Category 6A, 5-foot shielded patch cord designed for applications requiring high-speed data transmission. With a performance level of Category 6A, this cable supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet and is suitable for environments such as data centers, server virtualization, and network interconnects.
Constructed with a stranded conductor of 26 AWG (0.2 kcmil), this patch cord features S/FTP cable construction which enhances its shielding capabilities. The connector on one end is a TX6A™ 10Gig™ Keyed Modular Plug while the other end has a TX6A™ 10Gig™ Non-Keyed Modular Plug, allowing for secure connections. The cable's nominal outside diameter is 0.23 inches, and it operates effectively within a temperature range of 14°F to 140°F.
This patch cord exceeds the requirements of ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Category 6A, IEEE 802.3an-2006, and ISO 11801 Class EA channel standards, ensuring reliable performance and compliance. Additionally, it is RoHS compliant and features a dual rated flammability classification (CM/LSZH) for enhanced safety in various installations.
