Product Description

This string combiner box, designated as SOL-SC-1ST-0-DC-1MPPT-2300FS, is engineered for photovoltaic systems operating at voltages up to 1000 V DC. It facilitates the connection of a single string and incorporates essential safety features such as type 2 surge protection and a DC fire service switch disconnector, which allows for remote access. Constructed from polyester fiberglass reinforced material, this device is designed to withstand various environmental conditions with an operational temperature range of -20 °C to 40 °C. Its dimensions are 400 mm in width, 400 mm in height, and 200 mm in depth, providing a compact solution for installation. The unit also meets the IP65 protection level, ensuring durability against dust and water ingress.

With a maximum current rating of 40 A per string, the unit supports one maximum power point (MPP) tracker, which optimizes energy harvest from the photovoltaic system. The DC fire service switch enhances operational safety, while the remote indication contact operates at 24 V DC. This combiner box is suitable for integration into low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies, adhering to the EN 61439-2 standard.
