The Altivar 212 is a versatile variable speed drive designed for fluid management applications in tertiary sector buildings. It can feed 3-phase asynchronous motors and offers a protection index of IP21 with built-in EMC filter. Its design is eco-friendly, reducing energy consumption by up to 70% compared to conventional control systems.

The Altivar 212 drive weighs 55.4kg and has dimensions of 320mm wide, 630mm high, and 290mm deep. It is designed for common fluid management applications such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and pumping. It conforms to international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 (immunity and conducted and radiated EMC emissions).

The Altivar 212 offers optional motor chokes which can increase the maximum cable lengths between the drive and the motor, and limit disturbance at the motor terminals. It is designed to be mounted in a vertical position on a panel, with 4 fixing holes for easy installation.

The Altivar 212 drive supports numerous communication protocols including Modbus, METASYS N2, APOGEE FLN P1, and BACnet. This makes it easily adaptable to all building management systems.
