The IEC contactor is engineered for seamless integration into control systems, making it ideal for creating motor starters across diverse applications. This non-reversing contactor features three poles (3NO) and operates at a maximum current of 9A, accommodating 5HP at 480VAC. It can manage inductive loads effectively and is rated for 20HP at 200-208VAC, 25HP at 240VAC, and up to 60HP at both 480VAC and 600VAC in three-phase systems. For single-phase operations, it supports 7.5HP at 115VAC and 15HP at 240VAC.
When paired with a 480VAC circuit breaker rated up to 35A, the contactor can achieve a short-circuit current rating (SCCR) of 85kA. This rating increases to 100kA when used with a Class J or CC fuse rated at 25A for 600VAC applications. The device includes a coil rated at 100VAC, compatible with both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies, providing reliable operation in various environments.
The integrated design features one normally open and one normally closed auxiliary contact, with the latter being mirror certified. Connections are facilitated via screw clamp terminals for both load and auxiliary circuits. The contactor is compact, with dimensions of 3.15 inches in height, 1.77 inches in width, and 3.39 inches in depth, weighing 0.71 lbs. Furthermore, it complies with multiple safety standards including UL, CSA, IEC, CCC, EAC, and Marine standards, while also meeting RoHS/REACh criteria as a Green Premium product.
