Product Description
The TeSys U multifunction control unit is engineered for incorporation into advanced power bases such as LUB120, LUB320, and LUB380, functioning as a starter controller for both 1-phase and 3-phase motor applications. It can manage motors with a power rating of up to 2.2 kW at 400V for single-phase and 5.5 kW for three-phase systems, accommodating a rated current adjustment range of 3A to 12A.
This unit offers comprehensive protection features, including overload protection with a selectable class range from 5 to 30, short circuit protection, phase loss detection, and insulation fault monitoring. It is equipped with an LCD display and a four-button interface for setting and monitoring protection and alarm parameters, as well as displaying key electrical metrics.
Communication capabilities are facilitated through an RS485 Modbus interface with an RJ45 port, allowing for remote management via software such as SoMove or MachineExpert. The control circuit operates on 24V DC, requiring an external power supply for functionality.
Designed with adherence to multiple standards, the unit is certified when used with a compatible LUB power base, achieving compliance with IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, and Marine regulations. Additionally, it is classified as a Green Premium product, aligned with RoHS and REACh directives.
