The power module for the TeSys island system is designed to operate with three poles and supports a rated operational current of 9A at 690V. This module, when connected to a TPRBC bus coupler, is capable of protecting and monitoring loads up to 9A and motors rated at 4kW at 400V or 5hp at 480V. Its functionalities include thermal overload protection, phase loss detection, and monitoring of load conditions such as maximum and average voltages and currents when paired with a TPRVM001 voltage module.
In terms of specifications, it features a maximum insulation voltage of 690V according to IEC standards and a rated impulse withstand voltage of 6kV. The thermal overload protection is adjustable within the range of 0.18 to 9A, classified under thermal overload class 5-30. The device also incorporates remote or automatic reset capabilities and is operational only when connected to a bus coupler.
The module is compliant with various international standards including IEC, UL, and CSA and adheres to the Green Premium program, emphasizing its environmental considerations. It can be mounted on a DIN rail in either horizontal or vertical orientation and has a compact design with dimensions of 121mm in height, 45mm in width, and 115mm in depth. The product meets electromagnetic compatibility requirements and can withstand operational temperatures ranging from -10°C to 50°C without derating.
