The XPSVNE safety module facilitates zero-speed detection and complies with PL c/Category 2 according to EN/ISO 13849-1 and SILCL1 as per EN/IEC 61508 and EN/IEC 62061 standards. This module is tailored for motor power supply applications exceeding 60 Hz, providing critical monitoring capabilities for various motor configurations, including 3-phase motors and variable speed drives.

It integrates seamlessly with XU2S single-beam photoelectric sensors, forming a category 2 light curtain that adheres to IEC/EN 61496 parts 1 and 2. The device features removable terminals that enhance the reliability of control wire connections, thereby streamlining installation processes. Additionally, it provides solid-state outputs for effective communication with PLCs regarding the safety status of the monitored process.

Notable specifications include a conventional free air thermal current rating of 2.5 A for relay outputs and a power consumption of 3.5 W. The XPSVNE module supports various terminal configurations and is equipped with local signaling through four LEDs. Designed for a wide operational temperature range of -10 to 55 °C and a storage range of -25 to 85 °C, this safety module also meets stringent environmental standards, ensuring it is both RoHS and PVC free.
