The Schunk Universal Linear Module LDN is designed for high-speed assembly, measurement, and testing applications. Featuring a robust linear direct drive and roller guidance, this module ensures exceptional performance in clean and slightly polluted environments. The integrated motor and measuring system minimize space requirements and enhance reliability.

With almost no wear parts, the LDN module offers long service life and high system reliability. The absence of mechanical play between drive components results in flexible response behavior and high positioning accuracy. Low oscillations and high holding force enable short positioning times and process stability.

The module can be equipped with an absolute stroke measuring system, reducing programming effort and saving time during commissioning and operation. High dynamics allow for shorter cycle times, leading to increased productivity. Various configurations are available, including long slides for specific application optimization.

Optional features include a pneumatic holding brake for process reliability during system downtime and certified safety devices according to SIL2/PLd standards with HIPERFACE® and DRIVE-CLiQ interfaces for enhanced machine safety.
