The SINAMICS PM240-2 is a robust power module designed for high performance applications. It features an integrated braking chopper that enhances its efficiency and reliability, making it suitable for 380-480 V 3 AC +10/-10% 47-63 Hz power systems.
The module offers high overload capabilities, with a maximum power output of 5.5kW at 200% for 3 seconds, 150% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds. It also provides low overload capabilities, with a maximum power output of 7.5kW at 150% for 3 seconds, 110% for 57 seconds, and 100% for 240 seconds.
The SINAMICS PM240-2 is designed to operate in a wide temperature range of -10°C to +50°C for high overload conditions and -10°C to +40°C for low overload conditions. It has dimensions of 345 x 154 x 171 mm (HxWxD) and is equipped with FSB protection, providing a degree of protection IP20-PT.
This power module does not include a control unit or panel. It is released as of CU firmware version V4.6.
