The SITEMA KRP 40 Pneumatic Safety Catcher is designed for secure load holding and controlled release in industrial applications. This device operates pneumatically, requiring air pressure to maintain its released state. It is engineered to handle compressive loads directed towards the mounting surface, making it ideal for applications where safety and reliability are paramount.

The KRP 40 features a robust construction with a rod diameter of 40 mm and an admissible load capacity of 33 kN. The device requires a pressure of 4 bar to remain released and can operate at a maximum permissible pressure of 10 bar. The holding and braking force is designed to be at least twice the admissible load, ensuring reliable performance under various conditions.

The housing of the KRP 40 is primed black with corrosion protection wax on the front sides, ensuring durability and longevity in harsh environments. The device includes holders for standard M12×1 inductive proximity switches, although the switches are not included and are available as accessories. The pneumatic operating volume is 34 cm³, and the casing dimensions are 106 mm in diameter and 211 mm in length, with a total weight of 10 kg.
