Volktek INS-8624

The Volktek INS-8624 is a high-performance managed industrial switch featuring 4-port 10/100/1000 RJ45 downlink and 2-port multi-rate FX/GbE SFP uplink. It is engineered for seamless communication between controllers and devices in automation environments. The SFP ports provide long-distance, noise-free fiber transmissions adaptable to Fast and Gigabit Ethernet speeds, making it ideal for use with multi-axis robots, PLCs, HMIs, and legacy devices.

This switch supports auto-negotiation on all ports and Modbus TCP for easy device aggregation in industrial Ethernet applications. It optimizes traffic with Storm Control, Flow Control, and QoS, ensuring prioritized industrial data packets, preventing data loss, and maintaining stable transmission. A topology map feature allows for network visualization, and compliance with cybersecurity standards safeguards the network from vulnerabilities.

Built with industrial-grade components and housed in an IP30 aluminum case with high thermal conductivity, the INS-8624 is protected from tools and hazards. It is designed to withstand vibration, shock, free fall, interference, and extreme temperatures ranging from -40℃ to 75℃ (-40°F to 167°F), making it suitable for harsh industrial applications. The redundant power supply and alarm relay contact on the terminal block ensure non-stop operations and issue alerts in case of power failure.
