The Retro-reflective Sensor OJ5104 is designed for applications requiring a compact and efficient sensing solution. Its particularly compact housing makes it ideal for use in restricted spaces. The sensor offers a very long range and features a visible red light for simple alignment. The intuitive setting of sensitivity and output function ensures ease of use, while fast mounting is facilitated by mounting holes with robust stainless steel sleeves.
This sensor operates on the retro-reflective principle and includes a polarisation filter to prevent false triggering from shiny objects. It supports a wide operating voltage range of 10 to 30 V DC and has a low current consumption of less than 22 mA. The sensor's electrical design is PNP with a programmable light-on/dark-on mode, and it includes comprehensive protection features such as reverse polarity protection, short-circuit protection, and overload protection.
The OJ5104 is built to withstand harsh conditions with an ambient temperature range of -25 to 60°C and an IP67 protection rating. It complies with EN 60947-5-2 standards, ensuring reliable performance in industrial environments. The sensor's housing is made of durable ABS material, and the lens is constructed from glass for added durability.
