The Retroreflective Sensor is designed for complex applications, providing precise object detection up to an effective range of 6 m. It utilizes a modulated visible red light source with a wavelength of 660 nm and includes a polarization filter for enhanced performance.

In TEACH mode, the effective detection and reflector distance can be adjusted up to 3.5 m, and in standard mode, up to 5 m can be achieved. The sensor is equipped with a 5-step switch for setting contrast detection levels, allowing for customization based on the material being detected, such as clean PET bottles or colored glass.

With a degree of protection rated at IP67/IP69K, this device is suitable for challenging environments, capable of withstanding ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to 60 °C. The unit's compact dimensions, measuring 31.4 mm in height, 13.9 mm in width, and 18 mm in depth, make it ideal for applications where space is limited.
